| Kelly family vacation 2010 |
Dave and Gretta Kelly celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in August 2010 and
eight other Kelly family members joined them in Costa Rica to celebrate, have a family
vacation together, and tour some of Costa Rica in the rainy season.
Gretta, Heather and Tiffany organized most to the trip and activities. Highlights included a
tree top canopy zip line tour; kind of an amusement park ride in tall trees. A wildlife river
boat tour with monkeys, alligators or crocs, birds and lizards. Steve went scuba diving
one day for two dives spotting mantas, sharks, big rays and eels.
We slept at an upscale all-inclusive resort. There was a lot of eating and drinking, and
walking, swimming and sunning. Sun shone every day and rain fell every day.
The resort environment was manicured, but at least some of the wildlife didn't seem to
mind (see fauna below.)
I've grouped photos into flora, fauna, landscapes & etc., people and for those without
a lot of time or interest: best of. Some of the canopy tour pics were shot by the tour
